Service DescriptionExamen Christi provides subscription-based SMS devotional messages intended for daily spiritual reflection, moral examination, and encouragement. Messages are typically delivered once per day; frequency may vary.2. Eligibility & ConsentBy subscribing, you confirm that:* You are 18 years of age or older, or have obtained legal parental or guardian consent
* You are voluntarily opting in to receive recurring automated SMS messages
* You understand that message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier
* You consent to receive automated messages from Examen ChristiConsent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.3. Messaging Terms* Message frequency: typically once per day
* Reply HELP at any time for assistance
* Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving SMS messagesImportant: Replying STOP immediately stops message delivery but does not cancel billing. Billing cancellation must be completed as described in Section 5.4. Billing & Subscription Terms* Subscription pricing is clearly disclosed at checkout
* Charges are processed on a recurring monthly basis unless canceled
* Payments are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment provider
* By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment methodNo refunds are issued for partial billing periods.5. Cancellation Policy (READ CAREFULLY)A. How to Stop SMS MessagesYou may stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.
This action immediately halts all future SMS communications.Stopping SMS messages alone does NOT cancel billing.B. How to Cancel Your Paid Subscription (Billing)You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time before your next billing date using one of the following methods:1. Stripe Customer Portal* Use the “Manage Subscription” link provided at checkout or included in your Stripe email receipt
* Through the portal, you may cancel your subscription, update payment methods, and view billing history2. Email Cancellation Request* Send a cancellation request to [email protected]
* Requests must be sent from the email address or phone number associated with your subscriptionC. When Cancellation Takes Effect* Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
* You will not be charged again after cancellation is processed
* Access to messages continues through the end of the paid period unless you have opted out of SMS deliveryNo prorated refunds are provided for unused time.
6. No Guarantees / DisclaimerThe Service is provided for religious and spiritual purposes only. Examen Christi does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice.No specific outcomes, spiritual results, or personal changes are guaranteed.7. Acceptable UseYou agree not to:* Interfere with or disrupt the Service
* Attempt unauthorized access to systems or delivery mechanisms
* Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposesViolation may result in termination of access without notice.8. Modifications to the ServiceWe reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.9. Limitation of LiabilityThe Service is provided “as is.” Examen Christi is not liable for:* Message delivery delays or failures

* Service interruptions beyond reasonable control
